New Applications for CRISPR Such as Rapid Diagnostics

The research involving gene editing is moving very rapidly.  Some of the shorter term more practical applications such as new tools to accelerate the study of systems biology as well as new rapid diagnostics are very exciting to me.

Stay tuned for diagnostic potentials for  “SHERLOCK”  and also new developments from this early research to point out both opportunities as well as risks in the evolving area of gene editing.  The following article discusses some of both.
