We are highly provocative and divergent, aiming to bridge polarities to find emergent breakthrough innovation. 

We identify new industry, scientific and technical trends of particular relevance for our members. We also discuss examples of public, private companies, and the emerging area of decentralized digital assets within the trends research (please keep in mind we have more detailed research in our synergistic investing services).

We discuss investment opportunities within our trends research that are both in and out of coherence with our principles.

We feel the trends and companies in coherence with our principles offer the biggest breakthrough possibilities during the current period of unprecedented change. These opportunities are often counterintuitive.

We also discuss in specific and timely ways how incoherence with our principles can be particularly risky for investors and entrepreneurs.

We offer a variety of ebooks, virtual conferences, webinars/videos, subject specific trends research, and metadata.

The Pythia System is our first of three investing service areas and is foundational to all we do.

We are also seeking polymathic collaborators and interdisciplinary artisans to help with The Pythia System.

We are currently seeking founding investors for our first service offering that will mix and match our three synergistic service areas (both individual and institutional investors comfortable with direct private investing outside of formal fund structures). We are not yet offering The Pythia System as a standalone service. The Pythia System is highly synergistic with both Phoenix Investing (micro-to-mid capitalization direct public and digital asset investing service) and Hub&Spoke Investing (direct private investing service).

The Pythia System has been my passion project for a long time to help both investors and entrepreneurs embrace unconventional thinking and navigate the chaos towards creative, systemic solutions to complex problems.

The edge of chaos is where all the magic happens!

When maverick entrepreneurs and investors hang around the edge of chaos, it sparks creativity, inspiration, and even joy. Yes, there is uncertainty and fear of the unknown. But if we can harness that energy, it can lead to breakthroughs. We need that kind of creative thinking now more than ever with all the global crises we face. Linear thinking and centralized control have led us to this point. We need more decentralized, diverse solutions that allow local empowerment. Nature shows us how complex adaptive systems self-organize in wise ways.

Too often investors pursue trendy markets, leading to herd behavior and unintended consequences. We leave behind the real fringe visionaries, who see the world differently. When they come together, their ideas can be world changing. Fringe entrepreneurs are generally polymath entrepreneurs.. These individuals have skills and expertise across multiple diverse disciplines and they often apply this broad knowledge to entrepreneurial pursuits. Their cross disciplinary thinking gives them an edge in discovering new breakthrough opportunities.

The current inflexible investment strategies and structures do not align with the requirements of these exceptional entrepreneurs. Our focus lies on the investment structure and strategy rather than considering systemic value, resulting in bubbles and a zero-sum game scenario. These interdisciplinary entrepreneurs possess a distinct perspective, recognizing both challenges and prospects uniquely. They demonstrate an ability to swiftly pinpoint groundbreaking innovations and effortlessly adapt when necessary, a crucial skill in navigating today’s fast-paced technological and scientific advancements.

I created Pythia Capital to support those unconventional entrepreneurs who are often overlooked. Our approach is based on the principles of living systems, not outdated economic models that do not reflect the reality of nested, complex systems. That helps us to see opportunities others miss, and fund solutions that are truly systemic, impactful, elegant and beautiful.

There is no window dressing or narrative shaping possible following natural wisdom. At The Pythia System, we shine a torch of light into the dark crevices. However, it is the light shining in the darkness that illuminates new inspiration, shares wisdom to make sure you learn from past mistakes, and helps you find better balance with your plans.
